Granite State Ambassadors, Inc. Launches New England’s First Authentic Virtual Visitor Center
Manchester, New Hampshire – Granite State Ambassadors (GSAs), “New Hampshire’s Information Specialists” launches New England’s first authentic virtual visitor center, at http://Twitter.com/askNH. The askNH Visitor Center is available for travelers, visitors, businesses, and residents with questions about New Hampshire. Anyone can ask questions of our GSA volunteers and receive short, real-time answers, some with supporting links.
“The driving engine of askNH is Twitter,” says Judi Window, Managing Director of Granite State Ambassadors, Inc. an award winning non-profit, charitable organization in New Hampshire that trains and manages volunteers and industry personnel to staff frontline, guest-oriented locations such as visitor and welcome centers, hotel front desks, and chambers of commerce.
“Our GSAs volunteer to staff the askNH Center and monitor questions coming in 365 days a year,” Window says. “Our GSAs are available when physical locations may be closed, such as on holidays, weekends, and after hours. Friends from around the world, domestically, and in different time zones, can quickly have their questions answered.”
“Being a trained and certified GSA, I would like to volunteer more of my time, but am unable to get to a physical visitor center on a regular basis, so the new askNH Virtual Visitor Center helps me participate and allows me to help guests with the knowledge I gather about NH from daily work,” says Kirk Membry, a GSA volunteer and owner of Moss Creek Media, a panoramic photography company.
In addition to responding to questions from guests, askNH volunteers monitor things-to-do and deals in New Hampshire and send out helpful tweets to those who choose to follow askNH.
Not a Twitter user? No problem, you can still enjoy the banter by watching the stream of information from our webpage at www.nhgsa.com. Or if you have a question that needs answering, www.askNH.com offers an e-mail response and an emergency telephone option.
